The field of ‘Beauty’ is what always caught her attention and interest and a little newspaper cutting was all she needed to decide ‘Aromatherapy’ is her calling. Anita took the bold step to follow her passion, and pursued a full fledged course from Mrs.Seema Gopujkar in ‘Aromatherapy’. Anita has always believed in adding value to her products which inspired her to further pursue a course in ‘Cosmetology & Formulations’ from Vaze College, Mumbai.

Anita’s Aromatics is dedicated to supplying & manufacturing natural & ethical products using organic essential oils & botanical ingredients which are pure & unadulterated in order to provide our clients with the most naturally derived ingredients grown on our planet
Aromatherapy can be defined as the diligent use of essential oils to promote or improve health , hygiene & well being. These oils can be administered through massage, inhalation, compresses & baths. In fact Aromatherapy has been used by ancient cultures for thousands of years, with the earliest example discovered in Iraq & dating back to 6000 years.
Present position and future of Aromatherapy in India?
With people in India beginning to prioritize the quality of life, the importance of wellness & hence aromatherapy has gained mammoth proportions . There is an immense scope for aromatherapy products that truly deliver on the promises made to the demanding & enlightened Indian consumer. With hectic lifestyles & busy schedules becoming a part of the new age generation in India, the requirement for de-stress solutions has only grown in the past few years. Aromatherapy has thus become an integral part of life in India.
A small newspaper cutting , a little coaxing from mom, and I landed up at the doorstep of the very talented Mrs.Seema Gopujkar for a one on one course on aromatherapy. Since then Anita’s Aromatics has grown very fast indeed. I realized more than actually doing therapies, designing products to better the quality of life for its users & reconnecting them to their inner self gave me a sense of true satisfaction. Initially I tried contract manufacturing my product lines ,but found the consistency lacking & quality not upto the mark. Also I could not test & experiment the way I wanted to. This led me to set up my own manufacturing unit . My husband has been my strength, constantly encouraging & motivating me to succeed.
Your Brand mantra and philosophy?
Life has offered me many roles-that of a wife , a mother of two adorable kids and in all of these roles, aromatherapy has taught me that I must be able to look at the essence, at the heart of every experience to achieve happiness, serenity & balance.
What is your marketing strategy and how is it different from the industry?
The cosmetic industry is a very lucrative, innovative & fast paced industry where product innovation is the key to success. At Anita’s Aromatics we believe the consumer are central for the product lifecycle because their demands change swiftly with new market trends. In order to meet these ever changing demands, we constantly experiment & innovate, delving deep into using rich & organic raw materials.
How are the products manufactured?
We have an integrated manufacturing process at our factories which are strategically located keeping in mind logistics.
What is the USP of your products?
Our products are very innovative & aromatherapy based. We try & incorporate natural actives & ingredients that leave a lasting impression on your mind, body & soul.
How has the response been so far?
Our products have been widely accepted by some of the best spas & salons . The positive feedback received from actual consumers of our products has resulted in us trying to constantly innovate.
Your future plans.
I am reminded of a saying by Kahlil Gibran –“Forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet & the winds long to play with your hair”. We want to have our product line as close to nature as possible.
