BNI-elvis-and-reema-logoElvis & Reema salon was started in February 2015. It is owned and run by two very passionate and creative stylists Elvis and Reema themselves. Shortly after  opening in Delhi, they made a great clientele and their salon joined the ranks of the top salons. The philosophy of Elvis and Reema salon  is believe in true hair dressing. They both share a great bond with their clients because of their genuine advice and suggestions to them.

Balayage is a French word meaning to sweep or to paint. It allows for a sun-kissed natural looking hair colour – similar to what nature gives us as children – with softer, less noticeable re-growth lines. The principal idea being less is more when creating soft, natural looks. Balayage is making its way back into being one of the most popular hair colour requests in salons today.

The Undercut with Balayage

Undercuts are super cool and they continue to be a hot trend in 2016.

The simplest way to describe the hair style would be short sides and long top. The look—which features shorter length on the sides as compared to the top—has trickled down from the celebrities to regular people.

The great thing about the undercut hairstyle is it can be styled and cut in so many different ways! You can pick and choose what undercut hairstyle you like best and there are many to choose from.

Elvis and Reema from Elvis and Reema salon tell us what all went into and how they created this look.

BNI-Elvis-and-Reema-hair-color-front-and-back“We used the Loreal Majicontrast Red for the color. Our client is a karaoke rock singer so the look was created to suit her style.

Rather than adding regular lights, Balayage makes it more fun.  Also, as she was  coloring for the first time, this gives an option to leave the hairline and top natural.

For styling we did a flicked out blow dry and added beach waves spray by Techni Art Loreal. For textured finish and for at-home styling she was recommended Siren Waves to enhance her wavy hair to Hollywood waves.

Client getting The Undercut

The client had thick dark hair with an outgrown Bob. Since she wanted to maintain the length, Elvis added some layers to take out the bulk from the hair and created a wavy Bob. Undercut was added so that the bob sits well without becoming bushy as the client had extremely thick hair. And of course for style statement and expression of our clients mind a diamond was created at the undercut.

The red Balayage was created by Reema to enhance the haircut and to complete the transformation.”

We absolutely love this transformation.
